theHumm's editorial pages and calendar are exclusive to events happening in the small towns and rural communities that we cover. However, everyone is welcome to advertise. We offer free assistance with ad layout, because we want your ads to look terrific!
Why Advertise with theHumm?
Because of our comprehensive calendar of events and focus on content, many readers have told us that they pick it up on a regular basis and keep the current issue on hand for the entire month. We have heard from numerous businesses and event organizers who have advertised or been written up in the paper that people "heard about it in theHumm." Thanks to our base of dedicated readers who actively seek out local goods, services and entertainment, we have many repeat advertisers.
Distribution
theHumm is delivered on or around the first of each month to small, independent shops, cafés, libraries and tourist attractions. Circulation ranges from 8,500 to 9,500 copies, depending on the season.
theHumm is distributed to:
- Almonte, Arnprior, Ashton, Burnstown, Calabogie, Carleton Place, Carp, Merrickville, Pakenham, Perth, Smiths Falls, and Westport
- Plus seasonally to tourist attractions (festivals, sugar bushes, farmers' markets, etc.)
