Arts Carleton Place is looking for artists and artisans to participate in its Itty Bitty Show, taking place on November 21 and 22 at the Carleton Place Arena. Show times are 10am to 4:30pm each day. This is a one-of-a-kind artisans and artists sale for the festive holiday.

Arts CP is seeking 55 vendors who produce original paintings of all media, fibre art, photography, jewellery, pottery, blown glass, fused glass or works of wood or metal, as well as books or other original creative pieces. This event will be cross promoted with others in the region to draw in as many visitors as possible. A wide variety of promotional activities will be undertaken in the hope of reaching 3,000 visitors.

All works must be priced no higher than $200 but there is no size limit. Vendor acceptance is on a first-come, first served basis with some potential category limits to ensure vendor balance and optimal buyer choice. Entry fee is dependent on booth size chosen: 2’x8’x2’ ($ 170) or 4’x8’x4’ ($ 175). There is also a mandatory $30 volunteer deposit which will be refunded after the show if the participating vendor has completed the assigned volunteer task (i.e., set-up, take-down, put up lawn signs).

A central cash will be operated by ACP with a commission of 10 percent. Artists must have auto-deposit enabled.

Set-up will be on the afternoon of Friday, November 20. The registration deadline is September 30 at midnight. Your application is deemed complete when both the registration form and full payment have been received. However, do not send payment until booth size is confirmed by the show coordinator. Only online registrations and e-transfer of booth fees will be accepted.

You must be a member in good standing of Arts Carleton Place to participate. If you are not, please complete the form at artscarletonplace.com/membership/form and e-transfer your fees ($ 30) to treasurer.artscp@gmail.com.

This show is presented by Arts Carleton Place and the Town of Carleton Place. A percentage of sales supports emerging art students through the ACP Bursary Program. The show coordinator, Suzanne Deschênes, can be reached at artcscp2018@gmail.com if you have any questions.
