You find your seat and excitement builds. The curtains pull back and the music swells. The music carries your breath away and you fall into the world of the show. The music of our favourite movies and stage plays bring with them all the emotion of their stories.
In Curtains Up, the Valley Voices’ June concert, we explore the wonderful music of stage and screen. From modern cultural phenomena to classics of the cinematic golden age, we cover a wide range of music.
Please join us on Sunday, June 14 at 7:30pm at the Almonte United Church. Tickets are $15 and available from Baker Bob’s, at the door, or from your favourite choir member.
The Valley Voices are Almonte’s original community choir. We sing in harmony accompanied by the wonderful Kathleen Deck. We have two concerts a year, this one in June and our annual holiday concert in December. We do have a few openings for new members, especially bass and tenor parts, so if you are interested in joining in September, please email valleyvoicesofalmonte@gmail.com to arrange your audition.
