For one day each summer, Bridge Street becomes more than just the heart of downtown Carleton Place — it becomes the setting for countless memorable moments. On Saturday, July 25, Bridge Street Summerfest returns, bringing together local businesses, community organizations, entertainers, musicians, food vendors and visitors for one of the community’s most anticipated celebrations of the year. Whether you’re reconnecting with friends, discovering a new favourite shop, enjoying live entertainment or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Summerfest offers a unique opportunity to experience the very best of Carleton Place.
This year’s entertainment lineup promises plenty of excitement. Festival-goers can enjoy the crowd-pleasing antics of Steve Goodtime, the spectacular circus-inspired performances of Ringmaster K, the captivating magic of Bella Magic, and the energetic entertainment of local favourite Sky the Guy. Live music from Cait Porteous and Amber Humby will keep the atmosphere buzzing, while cultural dance demonstrations add even more colour and excitement to the day. Visitors can also join WOW FM live on location as they announce the winner of the Small Town Big Day: Win Your Wedding Contest — a memorable local moment that is sure to draw a crowd.
Of course, Summerfest is also a celebration of local business. Visitors are encouraged to explore the unique local vendors, shops, restaurants, patios and services lining Bridge Street while enjoying special promotions and fun activities. Community organizations and businesses will be on hand showcasing the programs, services and volunteer opportunities that help make Carleton Place a vibrant place to live, work and play. Organizers are thrilled to welcome RONA and Turpin Kia who have planned some very special family-friendly attractions!
There are countless opportunities to discover the moments that make Summerfest unforgettable — from amazing entertainment and local discoveries to meaningful community connections. It’s a celebration of everything that makes Carleton Place special: vibrant local businesses, engaged community groups, and the welcoming small-town atmosphere that brings people together.
With entertainment, food, shopping, community exhibits and activities around every corner, Bridge Street Summerfest offers something for everyone and plenty of chances to create lasting memories. Bridge Street Summerfest is free to attend and is proudly presented by the Downtown Carleton Place BIA.
