Bring your family and friends to Union Hall’s annual Blueberry Tea, scheduled for Sunday, August 30 from 2–4pm. Get acquainted or re-acquainted with your neighbours. Enjoy a freshly baked blueberry dessert along with a cold drink, hot cup of tea or freshly brewed Equator coffee.
Union Hall, a registered charity, has been a gathering place since its construction in 1857. Throughout the years it has been a venue for family celebrations, meetings, and cultural and commercial activities, as well as community events such as the annual Blueberry Tea. Community volunteers continue to maintain and operate this historic landmark that has touched the lives of so many. Funding from Mississippi Mills, The Hub, the Ontario Trillium Foundation and private donors has contributed toward significant improvements in recent years, allowing the hall to stay open twelve months of the year — with insulation, a heating system, and even air conditioning!
There is no charge for the Blueberry Tea, but donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
