Choral Evensong

If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful way to end the week, please join us for Choral Evensong at St. James. Evensong is the Anglican service of evening prayer. It’s open to everyone. You don’t need to know the prayers, and you don’t need to be Anglican. You’re simply invited to come, sit, and listen.

What makes it special? The music. Our choir leads psalms, prayers, and the beloved canticles, the Magnificat and the Nunc Dimittis. The service is calm and reflective, set against the backdrop of St. James’ beautiful stained glass as the afternoon light comes through the windows. People come for many reasons: for the peace, for the music, for a moment to pause, to be moved.

Choral Evensong takes place at St. James Anglican Church on Sunday, September 27 at 4PM.
