Mindset Reset

Mindset Reset invites participants into a space where creativity meets calm. Rooted in global traditions like Sashiko, Boro, and Kantha, this workshop is designed for anyone open to learning new handwork skills. Participants will be using layered fabric pieces and visible hand-stitching techniques to create a 5×5 coaster set. Each coaster (or alternate project) becomes a tactile meditation—an opportunity to slow down, unplug, and experience the joy of making something from start to finish.

Kimya Keyhan is the Founder and Creative Lead at Kon Korazon Designs, where quilting, multilingual education, and sustainable creativity intertwine. As a textile artist and pattern designer, she stitches personal stories into every piece, blending custom design elements with a deep commitment to imaginative reuse. Her work celebrates the beauty of scraps, the power of slow stitching, and the joy of making with intention (not perfection!).

With a background in education and a passion for inclusive artistry, Kimya creates welcoming spaces where makers of all backgrounds and skill levels can explore, reconnect, and play. Her workshops are more than classes—they’re boutique experiences that invite curiosity, conversation, and community.

Whether she’s designing story-rich patterns, teaching in one of her four languages, or guiding a group through the meditative rhythm of hand stitching, Kimya leads with warmth, clarity, and a belief that creativity is for everyone. Kon Korazon Designs is her sanctuary for mindful making — a place where fabric and thread become tools for connection, expression, and joy.
