Back Forty Farm, known for its award-winning artisan cheeses, invites the community to its annual Holiday Open House, a festive day to enjoy the season and shop for local products. Specializing in unique raw sheep milk cheeses, the farm will offer free samples, seasonal treats, and special holiday sales on select cheeses.

Owners Jeff and Jenna Fenwick, along with their daughter Beatrix, will be on hand to greet guests and share the holiday spirit on Saturday, December 13 from 11am to 4pm.

The open house will feature handcrafted cheeses, charcuterie, holiday gift baskets, local gifts, and specialty drinks. Fine chocolatier Ludwig Ratzinger will be on site with his exceptional chocolates, and the riverside bistro will serve fireside comfort food made with the farm’s own meats, along with vegetarian options, hot and cold beverages, and seasonal wood-oven dishes.

A bonfire will burn all afternoon, providing a cozy spot to enjoy the holiday atmosphere. Guests can also shop for grass-fed meats, including pastured lamb and whey-fed heritage pork, available as individual cuts or assorted boxes.

Inside the shop, visitors will find a curated selection of locally made foods and one-of-a-kind gifts, making Back Forty’s Holiday Open House a celebration of artisan craft, local flavour, and community spirit.
