Set right here in Lanark County, David S. Craig’s Having Hope at Home brings a local story to life on the Studio Theatre Perth stage. Filled with laughter, heart, and recognizable moments, this warm and uplifting comedy celebrates the resilience, humour, and neighbourly spirit that remind us both community and hope can often be found right next door.
David S. Craig, a local Canadian playwright, has received numerous top honours for his extensive body of work, including three Dora Mavor Moore Awards, three Chalmers New Play Awards, and Toronto’s Barbara Hamilton Award for artistic excellence.
If you’ve ever called Lanark County home — or simply appreciate a great story well told — this is a play you won’t want to miss.
Written by David S. Craig • Directed by Grace Main • Original Music by Mark Bailey
