You won’t want to miss these upcoming events at Union Hall in April and May!
In recognition of Earth Day, on Sunday, April 19, we invite children and parents to join us between 2pm and 4pm. Using recycled materials, children will make crafts including a windsock and a bathyscope underwater viewer, and sow seeds to bring home. An earth day-themed cake will be served to celebrate the earth’s goodness and bounty. There is no cost to attend. For those who can contribute, we will collect food and cash donations for The Hunger Stop, our local food bank.
On May 10, we invite you to treat your mom, grandmother, or special friend to a lovely brunch for Mother’s Day. You will enjoy a menu of quiche, salad greens, dessert and teas and Equator coffee. Vegetarian and gluten-free items will be available. There is no cost to attend. For those who can contribute, we are always grateful for donations to Union Hall, by way of cash at the event or via our website at union-hall.org.
To ensure your place at the table, please register through ticketsplease.ca or by sending your details by email to information@union-hall.org.
Union Hall is grateful to be able to host community events thanks to the ongoing financial support from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills and The Hub, a Capital Grant from the Trillium Foundation, and with help from volunteers and the support from generous local businesses and individual donors.
