On Sunday, August 2 from 12–4pm, experience the nostalgia of Pioneer Days with retro 1970s family fun at the Middleville Museum.

Activities include a bubble gum blowing contest, a spelling bee, costume and beard judging contests, sack races and a dress up relay. Enjoy a sample of ’70s cuisine at a special food tasting table. Explore the Museum’s memorabilia exhibit including videos of the Pioneer Days grand parades. Claudia Smith will share a horse bridle button collection. Rachel Smyth will speak about the wedding dress exhibit. Layne Sharpe will demonstrate the operation of the barn frame loom and Bill Kemp will talk about his 1915 Model T Ford (weather dependent).

The Middleville Museum is located at 2130 Concession 6D in Lanark Highlands. Admission is $5 for adults; youth 12 and under are free.
