Spirits of Perth

Step into Perth’s darker past with Spirits of Perth, a special evening blending Victorian traditions, ghostly tales and local spirits.

Your evening begins at Perth Museum, where you’ll explore fascinating (and sometimes unsettling) Victorian mourning customs through hands-on activities inside historic Matheson House. From there, head into the night for a guided Ghost Walk through downtown Perth, uncovering eerie stories and legends from the town’s past. The evening concludes at the new Top Shelf Distillers location downtown, where you’ll settle in for a guided whisky tasting.

Part history, part mystery and part whisky, Spirits of Perth is a spirited way to experience Perth after dark.

Presented by Perth Museum in partnership with historian Susan Code McDougall and Top Shelf Distillers. 7–9 p.m., beginning at Perth Museum, 11 Gore Street East. Includes a whisky tasting, so guests must be 19 or older.
