When Harm Occurs: Becoming a Trauma-Responsive Community

A free virtual event featuring Myrna McCallum. The session covers how trauma affects behaviour, recognising that people may not always respond well when they are hurting, avoiding responding to poor behaviour with poor behaviour, reducing and mitigating harm to those impacted by trauma, and strengthening community responses that promote safety, dignity, accountability and healing. Presented by the Perth and District Community Foundation with Lanark County Community Justice, funded through a Together for Justice grant, with support from Community Foundations of Canada and The Law Foundation of Ontario.
