The Kanata Art Club was formed in the 1960s by a group of nine individual artists. Since then, the club has expanded to a membership of 100 or more. The facility consists of painting rooms, where painting classes are offered two to three times per year. Workshops are offered with instructors from the local area and abroad.
The Club's studio is home to workshops, classes and events held by the Club.
